Holy Days in the Apple Pi Inn: Super Pi Day

What time is it? 3/14/15 9:26:53
Month. Day. Year. Hours. Minutes. Seconds.
I look in the round face of time hanging on the wall.
I study all the geometric shapes that fill the chairs.
I note the sounds that spill across the coffee cups.
I trace the faces, count the fingers that set the table.
It’s time to consider the ratio
between the diameter and the circumference
of a circle.
If no building could stand,
no bridge sustain,
no construction endure
without the precision of PI
(be it apple, or cherry or peach)
will this circle be unbroken?

Only if
only as
the ratio between the diameter
and the circumference of the heart
keeps expanding.
